About

Scottsdale is a cosmopolitan city in Arizona. Located just outside of the state capital of Phoenix it has plenty to offer in the way of nightlife and shopping facilities. There are many luxury hotels located in the city and it is a popular place for young celebrities to hang out. Even though the city offers a certain amount of exclusivity, it is also one of the friendly cities in the world.

Overview of Hospitality Suites

The Hospitality Suites in Scottsdale is not a top of the line luxury accommodation. Nowhere near. It is however a great place to spend a holiday. The members of staff are extremely friendly and there is a real community atmosphere amongst the guests. The Hospitality Suites are set around 3 swimming pools. All rooms have a pool view and it is hard not to meet new people when staying there.

Resort Features

Apart from the three fabulously clean pools the Hospitality Suites also have a set of tennis courts and basketball hoops. There is a guest barbeque area which always helps to draw a crowd and allow guests to mingle with each other in a fun and laid back way.

For those who don’t want to cook in their room or enjoy the barbeque, there is a sports bar/ diner attached to the hotel which offers both room service and a place to eat in if required. Again the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming and the menu is traditional American but with plenty of choice.

The hotel has free Wi-Fi so it is easy to stay in touch with friends back home. There is also a nightly cocktail party, another way the Hospitality Suites extends a welcoming arm to all guests so that they enjoy their stay and take home great memories. The hotel is great for families looking for a fun holiday as it is the perfect base to see everything the area has to offer.

It is also great for couples of any age who want to relax and unwind in a very sociable environment. Of course, for those who do not want to mix with guests and who are looking forward to a little peace and quiet that is also possible as there is no pressure to attend any event laid on by the hotel, or an unplanned get together around the barbeque with other guests of the hotel.

Accommodation

The accommodation is very basic. There is the choice of one bedroom rooms, junior suites and a limited amount of two bedroom suites. Each room has a kitchenette or kitchen so it is easy to self-cater the holiday. Some of the rooms have a pull out sofa style bed in the living room and all come equipped with a television. Tea and coffee making facilities, a hair dryer and iron and ironing board are all available in the room as is a microwave in the kitchen area.

Nearby Attractions

Being so close to Phoenix means there plenty of attractions nearby. The Phoenix Zoo is a popular place to visit, particularly those with families and small children. The Big Surf Water Park is only open seasonally, but if the timing is right it is one attraction not to be missed. Not just for kids, the water park is a great way to cool off after spending time in the desert heat. There are a couple of casinos in the area that may be tempting for anyone fancying a little flutter. Located just a short drive from the hotel the casinos are a great way to spend the evening.

There are several top class shopping malls just a short bus ride from the hotel. The bus stops literally outside the door of the hotel and can drop passengers off right at the door of Fashion Square. There is no need to walk in that heat, a door to door service is just perfect. Not just for fashion buys although there are plenty of clothing stores inside, it is also possible to shop for books or even build your own bear amongst other things.

The road between the mall and the hotel is long. There are a wide variety of shops along the way including a rare book store and local arts and crafts shops. The area was once the home of Native Americans and the influence is felt everywhere. The shops along the route for those who may wish to walk also have misters, which can help to cool passing pedestrians on a hot day. There are golf courses aplenty in and around Scottsdale with one being less than a mile from the hotel. Of the tennis courts and basketball courts at the hotel are not enough to soothe the sportsman inside then it is possible to catch a cab and go to one of 17 golf course s all within a 25 mile radius of the hotel.
