About

There are not many places in the world that can pull off Glitz, Glamour and Luxury accommodation, but Las Vegas is one of them.

Along the Strip which is well known for its casinos, bright lights and dancing waters are a whole range of first class hotels and resorts to suit all tastes and budgets.

Las Vegas is a great place to have fun, relax or party the night away.It is also possible to win a fortune (or lose a fortune) gambling at the many famous casinos the city has on offer. Las Vegas springs from the desert like a glittering oasis just waiting to welcome everyone in.

Overview of The Venetian

The site of The Venetian once belonged to The Sands, one of the very first casinos to be built in Las Vegas. The Venetian hotel is made up of 36 floors, containing standard hotel rooms, luxury suites and penthouses. The reception area is breath-taking and every last inch of the resort has been created with the finest detail.

Resort Features

There are some of the best shopping facilities in Las Vegas right there at The Venetian. The selection of malls offer stores selling the finest jewellery, clothing and gifts and it is hard to spend a full day browsing and window shopping.

After a busy day of shopping and sightseeing spending an hour or two at the top class Canyon Ranch SpaClub, considered the finest spa in Las Vegas might be the perfect way to unwind. Take time for a facial or other treatment, hire a personal trainer and climb rock walls, however a person chooses to relax and spend their spare time, the Canyon Ranch SpaClub will no doubt have something to offer.

No one expects to be able to take a Gondola ride down the Grand Canal in the middle of the desert, but The Venetian makes it possible. There are both indoor and outdoor rides and tickets must be bought in advance, in person.

The pool area of the resort has to be seen to be believed. It is an amazing 5 acres in total and consists of 3 pools and a hot tub. There is also outdoor showers and over 20 cabanas to be rented which can accommodate up to about 8 people. There is a variety of features to the cabanas including a television and DVD player, a fully stocked fridge and air conditioning. In the winter at least one of the pools stays open and is heated.

Of course, one of the biggest reasons most people take a trip to Las Vegas is for the amazing casinos and The Venetian casino floor has plenty to offer. The slot machines are always great fun and some have really massive jackpot amounts.

The gaming tables include roulette, craps and blackjack.  For those who have never played before there is a way to learn before you even leave your room.

The television inside each guest room has a channel available that can explain the basics of each game to be played so no one has to go on to the casino floor with no idea how to play. The racing and sports book is there so anyone wishing to have a flutter on a horse race or sporting event such as an upcoming football game can do so. The sports book is a popular place to meet people and the atmosphere is usually alive and friendly. All the excitement of the races really helps.

Accommodation

The world’s largest 5 diamond resort offers each guest a wide choice of accommodation. From the basic hotel rooms and suites to the luxury of the penthouse, every night spent at The Venetian is an experience in itself. There are specially laid out accessible suites perfect for those with impaired mobility or other form of additional need. Wider doorways and special showers areas make the suites ideal for those in wheelchairs.

Guest rooms come with many luxury features including Egyptian cotton bedding, oversized bathroom complete with television and king size pillow top bed. Features of each suite will vary but all of the rooms are decorated to the highest of standards with the finest of furnishings to show it is truly worth its 5 diamond rating.

Nearby Features

Anyone who can bear to break away from all that luxury can take a trip up and down the trip by bus. It is really inexpensive and stops at every major hotel so is great for sightseeing and sampling what the other hotels and casinos have to offer in the way of shows and entertainment. The bus runs about every 10 minutes and can get pretty busy.

It is possible to enjoy the fairground ride at the top of the Stratosphere, watch the dancing waters of the Bellagio or visit the world’s largest gift shop. And if that still isn’t enough, why not take a helicopter ride over the amazing Grand Canyon with the chance to catch a glimpse of the Hoover Dam.
